Join Sophie Asakura, (2010–12) Teen Council alum and Chloe Cheuk, current Teen Council member at CAMH, for a discussion about Teen Council's 14th biennial exhibition, .
In this discussion, Asakura and Cheuk will discuss their perspectives on CAMH’s Teen Council program's 25-year span.
Light lunch will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis after the gallery talk in the Cullen Education Resource Room in the lower level of the Museum.
Location and Accessibility
This event will consist of a walkthrough of the exhibition in the Nina and Michael Zilkha Gallery, located on the lower level of the Museum. No seating is provided for this program. About Sophie Asakura
Sophie Asakura is the Curatorial Associate for Modern and Contemporary Art at the Menil Collection. Born and raised in Houston, she is a curator and art historian who has served in positions at institutions including the Station Museum of Contemporary Art and Art League Houston. In the summer of 2024, she curated On Kawara: Moon Landing at the Menil Collection.
About Chloe Cheuk
Chloe Cheuk is currently a junior at the Kinder High School for Performing and Visual Arts (HSPVA) and a member of Contemporary Arts Museum Houston’s Teen Council. Cheuk enjoys painting, volleyball, and photography.
